Gerry Sandusky-Special Gospel Meeting for Our Members


The meeting we had scheduled with Gerry Sandusky is going on this week but with a few adjustments. Due to the Covid19 concerns we are inviting our own members to come in person and inviting everyone else to join us on our fb live page. Log into Facebook and go to the Main St Church of Christ page. The live streaming should begin about 7:10 each evening  M-Th this week (June 22-25) . We hope we can invite everyone back  in the near future.

Phasing in to Assemblies

Until further notice Wed. Services will continue on fb live with no in person service. Beginning Sunday May 17 at 10 am we will try an abbreviated in-person service combined with fb live, so you can choose which is best for you. Each person should do as he/she deems best, with no judgements on others. We will be considerate of suggested guidelines for meeting such as 33% of our building capacity (about 100) .
We will use every other pew and space no more than two families per pew. Prepackaged communion will be available and contribution may be dropped in the basket on the table. We will have individual hand sanitizers there as well. Singing and visiting will only take place in the parking lot, where we will skip spaces between cars.  
Here are some things you can do to make our assemblies safe. Do not come if you have a cough, flu-like body aches, fever (if you have a thermometer you can check temperature). Try and keep at a distance at all times. The guidelines encourage wearing gloves and masks, but that will be up to the individual. Park in alternate spots as much as possible. Only one person in restroom at a time. Use the spray cleaner provided and a paper towel to clean anything you touched (doorknob, faucets, etc and wash hands with soap. Again, we emphasize to only come when you feel ready. We hope to have the live-streaming in place before too long. Until then you can still watch on fb live or we can set you up with a FaceTime call.  For awhile the service will be similar to the online we've been having and will be shortened to 30-45 minutes.
